About the role

A vacancy has arisen for a Blender to join our busy Advanced Remanufacturing Business, based in Wellheads, Dyce. The main purpose of this role is to carry out Blending, Metal Polishing and Fettling of on engine components and third party work.

An overview of your day

  • Carry out dressing, re profiling and surface preparation/overspray removal on engine components to required specifications.
  • Plan and organise work to ensure compliance with QHS&E procedures and company quality standards.
  • Ensure correct procedures are followed and documentation completed.
  • Provide regular updates to the Supervisor and raise any issues promptly.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in your work area and follow 5S standards.
  • Keep consumables stocked and notify the Supervisor when re ordering is needed.
  • Support QHS&E initiatives and help improve processes and practices.
  • Report safety concerns to the Supervisor.


What we need from you

  • Experience using measuring equipment.
  • Knowledge of Blending, Metal Polishing & Fettling (including air tools).
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into practical work.
  • Understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of QHS&E procedures and COSHH requirements.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Self starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
